SainSmart Mega ADK

SainSmart Mega ADK

The SainSmart Mega ADK is an Arduino Mega 2560 with a USB host controller and connector for communication with an Android device. It has a beefier voltage regulator to supply charging current to the attached Android device. One assumes from that that the attached Android device is a phone, tablet, or some other rechargeable device.

The ADK is intended for use with the Android Accessory Development Kit 2011, from Google. It is not the same as the ADK 2012 from Google.
