The Seeeduino Mega 2560 is a microcontroller board based on the ATmega2560. Unlike the competition, it has up to 70 digital input/output pins. 14 can be used as PWM outputs, 16 analog inputs, 4 UARTs (hardware serial ports), a 16 MHz crystal oscillator, a USB connection, a power jack, an ICSP header, and a reset button.
The Seeeduino Mega 2560 is not an exact clone of the Arduino Mega 2560, since it has much more I/O brought out and has a smaller footprint, but it appears to be an improvement over the standard Arduino Mega 2560 overall. We have not had a copy in our hands yet, so this is based upon word of mouth and manufacturer's specs. If you need more I/O, specifically the analog comparator and input capture, and don't really need the larger footprint of the Arduino Mega, this may be the board for you.
